Noida Airport: The wait is over! Flights will start from Noida Airport from April 2025, check routes & other details

Noida Airport: A senior NIAL official said, “NIAl (Noida International Airport Limited) will resume operations from April 17 with flights to over 30 destinations, including 25 domestic flights, three international flights and two cargo flights.”

Noida Airport: Flights will start from the new international airport being built in Jewar, Noida, by mid-April 2025. People familiar with the matter said international flights to Singapore, Dubai and Zurich are on the verge of being finalised. A senior NIAL official said, “NIAl (Noida International Airport Limited) will start operations from April 17 with flights to over 30 destinations, including 25 domestic flights, three international flights and two cargo flights.”

He said NIAL is in talks with both domestic and international airlines to start regular flight operations from April 2025. The international flights being discussed are currently only for six months from launch.

Specifically, Zurich is the location of the airport concessionaire, Zurich Airport International (Zurich AG). On the domestic front, the airport will connect Noida to Mumbai, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Dehradun and Hubli.

Similarly, another executive said talks were underway for international flights to Munich and Brussels later in the year.

“We are in discussions with some airlines for more international routes. But their approval will depend on bilateral licensing agreements between the countries and airlines and the demand for those flights,” the second executive said.

Sources said more than 80 per cent of work on the NIAL terminal had been completed by the end of January 2025 and the remaining work was on track for launch in April.

NIAL nodal officer Shailendra Bhatia said, “Work on the terminal building has progressed a lot and the remaining work is going on at a fast pace. After the building is completed, work on building 10 aerobridges will begin.”
