Noida Traffic: Noida Authority is now making a new plan to get rid of the hassle of traffic jam. To reduce the traffic jam between Noida Express to Delhi border and Mahamaya flyover, a plan is being made to widen the 4 km stretch.
Noida Expressway Traffic: If you also live in Noida and are troubled by traffic, then now you are going to get relief from it soon. Noida Authority is now making a new plan to get rid of the hassle of traffic jam. To reduce the traffic jam between Noida Express to Delhi border and Mahamaya flyover, a plan is being made to widen the 4 km stretch.
According to the information received from the officials, Noida Authority is currently locating the chokepoints. Noida Authority will identify these chokepoints through a survey. At present, 500 meters of road from DND Loop to Film City will be widened for those going out of Delhi.
The 4 km route is quite difficult
The 4 km stretch of the expressway remains a problem for the passengers. Here people have to stand for hours. There is often traffic jam here, to reduce it, Noida Authority has made this plan.
10 minute route takes 1 hour
There is always long traffic from Noida Entry Gate to Mahamaya Flyover, especially near Film City where there are many offices and malls. Vehicles move at the speed of a tortoise on this route. A distance of 4 km should not require more than 10 minutes’ drive. This journey can be completed in just 10 minutes, but even then it takes 30 minutes to 1 hour for people to reach that place.
What did the CEO of Noida Authority say?
Noida Authority CEO Lokesh M said that this route is very troublesome for the passengers. He has said that I have planned to conduct a survey, for which a plan is being prepared. For this, tender will be issued soon and the contractor will be hired.
I have made this plan
He has said that in the first phase we will widen a 500 meter patch from DND Loop towards Apeejay School. This carriageway will be widened by 2.5 meters with an additional lane till Film City. With this, traffic entering Noida from Delhi will become easier. In the next few phases, we will widen other chokepoints on the expressway up to Mahamaya flyover.
