According to the new decision, it has been decided to stop the metro train at four more metro stations in peak time. From Tuesday, the stoppages of the Metro train of Aqua Line will increase.
Metro train will now stop here in peak time
According to NMRC officials, super fast metro train service was started on Aqua Line in February. Keeping in mind the time of office, school-college goers, it was decided that the metro train will not stop at 10 particular metro stations during peak times. Due to which time will be saved and passengers will get the benefit of it. But there was a demand of some people that the train should stop at the stations which are being left in peak time. There were more people from 7X societies among those who demanded.
These are the 5 stations where the metro will stop in peak time
According to NMRC, now the Metro train of Aqua Line will stop at Sectors 50, 83, 101 and 143 at peak times. On another Sector 81 also, approval has already been given to stop the metro train at peak time. In this way, now the train will stop at 5 more metro stations. But the decision regarding the remaining 5 stations has not been taken yet. Now metro train will run after every 10 minutes in peak time and after every 15 minutes in normal time.
Right now the train will not stop at 5 metro stations
Giving information, NMRC has told that there are 5 metro stations of Aqua Line where metro train will not stop in peak time. In this, Sector 144, 145, 146, 147 and 148 metro stations are such where the metro train will not stop at peak time. There was a lot of protest by the public at the 5 stations where this service is starting from Tuesday. People had to pay the fare in e-rickshaw and auto to reach the metro station. It was taking too much time.
