Google has removed steps counters, image editors, video editing apps, wallpaper apps, flashlights, file manager apps from the Play Store.
New Delhi: Search engine company Google has deleted 25 apps from the Play Store for security reasons. These apps were alleged to have stolen users’ Facebook data. This was reported to the company by French cyber security firm Evina.
Some of these apps were related to step counters, image editors, video editing apps, wallpaper apps, flashlights, file managers and mobile games that have been removed, according to a news report from our collaborative website Zeebiz.com.

If your phone also has these apps, uninstall them immediately. Out of these apps, super wallpapers flashlight and Padenatef have been downloaded by over five million people. Some apps have been downloaded more than a million times. The last three apps have only been downloaded 100 times.
According to reserchers, these apps had a code that knew which app was running in the background. If Facebook is running in the background, then it will take all the information on Facebook.
