Use DigiLocker
If you use the digitally available locker facility, you won’t be afraid of losing these necessary documents. This feature is also known as DigiLocker.
What is DigiLocker
Digital Locker or DigiLocker is a kind of virtual locker launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narenda Modi) in July 2015. DigiLocker was launched under the Digital India campaign.

Everywhere is valid
DigiLocker lets you keep any of your required documents safe. Also, if you use this locker, you don’t need to keep hard copies. That means it’s valid everywhere.
How to use?
To create an account, first go to digilocker.gov.in or digitallocker.gov.in.
Then click Sign Up on the right side of the site.
See where the new page will open where you enter your mobile number.
DigiLocker will send an OTP to the mobile number you enter.
Set the user name and password.
This way you can now use DigiLocker
How to save documents?
You’ll need to scan all your documents to save your documents to the Digi Locker digilocker. You can also click a clear photo of your documents if you want, after which you need to save it to the dji locker.
First log on to DigiLocker.
Go to Uploaded Documents on the left side of the site and click Upload.
You type a brief description about your document.
Click the Upload button.
