Educational Qualification- Candidates must have BE/BTech degree in relevant engineering field from a recognized university or institute.
Age Limit- The maximum age of the candidates to apply for these posts should be 27 years. However, age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/OBC candidates as per government rules.

NTPC Recruitment 2025 Application Fee: What is the application fee?
Candidates belonging to General (GEN)/OBC/Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category have to pay an application fee of Rs 300, while candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen (EXSM) are exempted from paying the application fee.

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their GATE-2024 score. Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo document verification. However, the final selection of the candidates will depend on the GATE score and the needs of the company.

Candidates selected for the post of Engineering Executive Trainee in NTPC will get a salary between Rs 40 thousand to Rs 1 lakh 40 thousand per month. Along with the salary, they will also get dearness allowance, other allowances and terminal benefits.
