Ola Electric Scooter Launch Date Revealed: Bhavish Agarwal, CEO, OLA Electric India has announced that the much awaited Ola electric scooter will be launched in the country on August 15, 2021. The company will also reveal the official specs and variant details of the scooter on the same day. He also announced that the delivery schedule of the electric scooter will also be revealed to the customers on Independence Day, 2021.

For information, let us tell you that the booking for the new Ola electric scooter has already started, and this scooter can be pre-booked at a token amount of Rs 499. The company has also stated that in case of cancellation of booking, the token amount will be fully refunded to the customers. The scooter, reportedly called Ola Series S, registered over 1 lakh orders within 24 hours of the commencement of bookings. This made it the ‘First Booked Scooter’ in the world.

The Ola electric scooter will reportedly be offered in 3 trims. That includes the S, S1 and S1 Pro. The model range can be called Ola Series S, which has two variants – S1 and S1 Pro. The scooters will come in 10 color options, including 3 pastel, 3 metallic and 3 matte shades. The pastel palette has red, yellow and blue, matte shades are black, blue and gray and metallic paints are pink, silver and glossy.

The Ola scooter will come with features like digital instrument console, smartphone connectivity, cloud connectivity, telescopic front suspension, alloy wheels, removable lithium-ion battery and more. Ola is also developing the high-speed Ola Hypercharger across India. Using the Hypercharger point, this company’s scooter can be driven up to a distance of 75 km in just 18 minutes of charge.
