Old pension scheme will be implemented
The Chief Minister of Sikkim has made a big announcement. As per the announcement made on September 11, the old pension scheme will be implemented in the state. Along with this, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang said that the committee has submitted its report to the government. Further action on this will be completed soon.
Workers will soon become regular in one family one job
Chief Minister Tamang said that one family one job will be regularized soon. Under this scheme, the way will be cleared for regularization of many employees who have been employed till now in one family, one job. Several announcements have been made by the Chief Minister during the World Renewal Spiritual Trust function in Debrang.
Announcement of financial assistance package
Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang said that an advance amount of ₹ 500,000 will be provided for the medical aid of Grade III and IV employees. They will be eligible to receive this amount. Employees will get significant benefits from the financial assistance package announced by the government.
Making another announcement, Tamang said that there is a commitment of the government for the development of the road along with the improvement of Debrang Road and effective drainage system. The project will involve extensive construction work. Also, focus is being placed on installation of efficient drainage system.
Shravan Kumar Award started
Along with this, Chief Minister Tamang said that the state government has started Shravan Kumar Award. This prestigious award will be given to those sons and daughters of Gram Panchayat and Nagar Panchayat who show selfless dedication towards their parents. Every year on August 15, this honor will be given to those young youth.
