Tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) has leaked the launch date of this upcoming OnePlus smartphone. Steve shared a post from his Twitter handle that the OnePlus 9 RT could be launched on October 15.

Reports from a few weeks ago said that OnePlus will not launch the ‘T’ version of its popular smartphones OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. A few days later, news about the OnePlus 9 RT started coming in. It is believed that the OnePlus 9 RT will be launched only in India and China.

company can offer a 6.55-inch AMOLED display in the phone. This display can come with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone can be launched in up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage option. Talking about the processor, a slightly more powerful version of the Snapdragon 870 chipset can be offered in this phone.
For photography, the company can offer triple or quad camera setup with LED flash in the phone. The main camera found in this can be 50 megapixels, which will be with Sony IMX766 sensor. There is also a possibility of getting an in-display fingerprint sensor in the phone for biometric security.
As far as the battery is concerned, this OnePlus phone can come with a 4500mAh battery. This battery will support 65W fast charging. Talking about the OS, OnePlus 9 RT will work on Oxygen OS 12 UI.
