New Delhi, Tech Desk. OnePlus has launched its mid-range smartphone Nord recently. This smartphone was hyped for a long time. Why not become hype, the company has launched it at an initial price of Rs 24,999. However, this variant of the phone will be available only in India. This smartphone with 48MP camera has many great features, but these 5 things makes it a weak mid range smartphone. In particular, users expect these features at a cost of Rs 25,000. The phone will be made available for sale in India from August 4.
Price and availability
Let us first talk about the price of the phone. The phone comes in three storage options, its base 6GB RAM + 64GB variant is priced at Rs 24,999. At the same time, the phone’s 8GB RAM + 128GB variant costs Rs 27,999. The most high end model of the phone is priced at Rs 29,999 which comes with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. The phone comes in two color options Gray Onex and Blue Marble. The sale of its gray onex color variant will be held on August 4. Whereas, the cell phone’s blue marble color variant will be held on August 6. The phone will be made available for exclusive sale on e-commerce website Amazon.in.

Weak processor
The special feature of OnePlus Nord is that it comes with 5G network support. The company has launched this mid range smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC. For mid-range 5G devices, it is considered to be a better processor. Realme X3 in India comes with a much better Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC at the same price. In such a situation, the gaming lovers and multi-testing users may not like this smartphone. However, for a regular user this may be a better option.
Weak design
There is nothing special in the design of OnePlus Nord 5G that a user expects from a OnePlus device. The phone has a 6.44-inch AMOLED display that comes with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone has a punch-hole display panel, in which the selfie camera is integrated. Quad rear camera set-up is given in the back of the phone. The camera set-up of its back panel has been given like Realme’s budget and mid-budget smartphone, which is not impressive. However, OnePlus has definitely given a side switch button just like its other devices.
Headphone jack
For mid-budget range users, smartphone manufacturer companies offer a 3.5mm headphone jack in their devices, which is missing in OnePlus Nord. A mid-budget user would not want to buy wireless earbuds or Type-C headphones.

Audio
If you buy Samsung’s mid-range Galaxy A or Galaxy M series smartphones, then you also get Dolby Atmos audio support which is not given in this most hipped smartphone of OnePlus. Apart from this, its speakers can also disappoint users. Only one side of the phone has a speaker grill.
UFS 2.1 Storage
Now you may be wondering what is UFS 2.1 storage, then let us tell you that it is the speed of data transfer inside the phone. At this time, many smartphone brands also offer UFS 3.0 storage support in their mid-range smartphones. In this way, this feature of OnePlus Nord makes it weak. In OnePlus 8, the company has given the UFS 3.0 storage feature.
