But many times it is seen that on changing jobs, our second PF account is opened and the amount of EPF is deposited by the company in that new account. If you want to transfer the amount deposited in different PF accounts in the same PF account, then you can do it very easily online at home. EPFO has also explained the step by step process of online EPF transfer process through its Twitter for the convenience of PF account holders. So let’s know about this whole process.
step by step process
For online EPF transfer, first of all you need to log in with your UAN and password by visiting Unified Member Portal https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/. After this, you have to go to the option of online service and click on the option of One Member-One EPF Account. After this, you will have to verify your personal information related to the current employment and PF account. After this you have to go to the Get Details option where you will see the complete details of the PF account linked to your previous job.
After this, you have to choose between the previous employer and the current employer to verify your form. After this you have to click on the option of Get OTP to get OTP on the number registered with UAN. After this an OTP will be received on your registered mobile number, after entering which you have to click on submit. After the completion of this process, your EPF will be transferred online.
