New Delhi, Business Desk. The country’s largest bank State Bank of India (SBI) has re-launched the Insta Saving Bank Account. This account is especially useful for those who want to open online accounts through the bank’s integrated banking and lifestyle platform Yono. It will not require paper to open an account, meaning it will be paperless and digital savings account can be opened immediately only through PAN and Aadhaar number.
The Insta Saving Banking account holder will work 24 hours a day seven days. SBI will issue RuPay ATM-cum-debit card to all new account holders of Insta Saving Bank account.
According to the information given on the bank’s Twitter handle, it can open any account sitting at home. Even if there is no minimum amount in the account, no charge will be paid.
How to open account
To open Insta Saving Banking account, you have to go to SBI Yono app. Apart from this, you can also apply by visiting SBI’s website YONO (https://www.sbiyono.sbi). Explain that the bank account will be closed if KYC (No Your Customer) is not completed for 1 year after opening the bank account.
What things are important
Only Indian citizens above 18 years of age can open this account. Aadhar card, mobile number and PAN card are mandatory for opening a bank account. It is a single operating account. This means that it cannot be opened as a joint account.
