The popular short video sharing app TickTalk is facing a series of shocks. It is already known that India and the United States have imposed a ban on ticks. Recently, Pakistan also decided to impose a ban on ticks. The Telecommunications Authority of Pakistan (PTA) said in a statement that it was banning Tiktok following complaints from various sections of the community. The PTA said in a statement that it was receiving a large number of complaints about unethical and obscene content being shared on the TicTac app.

The PTA said it had repeatedly asked TicTac to set up an effective mechanism to control illegal, obscene and obscene content, but the company did not comply. The PTA has made it clear that it has decided to ban ticks in Pakistan. Some officials said the decision was taken on the orders of Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The PTA issued its final warning to Tic Tac Toe in July this year. Requested removal of offensive content being posted on TicTac. Pakistan, on the other hand, has almost 39 million downloads of the app. TickTalk is the second most downloaded app in Pakistan after WhatsApp and Facebook, according to analytics firm Censor Tower. The company has not yet commented on the ban on Pakistani ticks. An application was recently filed in the Lahore High Court seeking a ban on TikTok. The application was filed by lawyer Nadeem Sarwar on behalf of a citizen. However, the petition is currently pending.
