A four-story Imrat in Karachi city of Pakistan has suffered a horrific blast. So far, at least 3 people have died and 15 people have been injured. The horrific explosion occurred on the second floor of the building at Maskan Chowrangi in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area outside University Gate in Karachi. It was so strong that it shattered the windows of the surrounding buildings and also damaged the vehicles. According to Pakistani newspaper Dawn, at least three people have died in this blast. Pakistani officials said that all the injured have been taken to Patel Hospital for treatment, of which many people are in critical condition.
The cause of the explosion is yet to be ascertained, but SHO of Mubina Town said that it looks like a cylinder blast. He said that the bomb disposal squad is ascertaining the cause of the blast.
