Pampore Jamia Masjid crisis brought Charar-i-Sharif-Hazratbal Dargah memory, know what was the matter!

Srinagar, State Burea. The Jamia Masjid crisis was resolved after 32 hours in Pampore, known as Saffron bed. The terrorist plan to damage the mosque and incite the people of the plaintiff against the security forces in the name of Islam has failed. The longer this crisis lasted, the longer the life of the common people along with police, army and civil administration in the plaintiff. Everyone was praying that there should not be another Charar-e-Sharif or Hazratbal dargah crisis.

This was not the first time in the last three decades when terrorists entered a mosque, but whenever something like this happens, people shiver. Bilal Kumar, who settled in Naugam, located a short distance from Srinagar, said that thank God that no one’s house was burnt, no one had to lose his father or brother. I used to live near the dargah of Sheikh Noorudin Noorani. My house was in the same potter’s place. I was 16 at the time. When Mastagul came to Charar-e-Sharif, many people celebrated there, but when he went, the whole town was a crematorium. My father Ali Mahomed sent all of us to Nagam in the last days of April. When I reached my house on 13 May, I found the burnt corpse of my father.

Whoever has settled here has come out of Charar

Nazir Baba, who lives in Alamdar Colony, located a short distance from Charar-e-Sharif, said that he has also settled here and has come out of Charar. For almost two months, the terrorists were persuaded to leave the security force, Ulema Dargah. Had most of the people not already taken refuge from other places in the town, Kai would hardly have survived the fire in the Dargah of the terrorists. Terrorists have deeply injured our faith, our Islam. I was in Charar that day, there was a fire in the dargah in the early hours, there were houses in the narrow streets around the dargah. Most of them were covered with wood. So the fire spread rapidly, whoever got the chance ran there to save his life. Firemen and soldiers used to extinguish the fire. On one side, terrorists were firing bullets and on the other side, fire was burning the town. The same would have been the case in Pampher, as the Jamia Masjid is also located within the locality.

There is no meaning to terrorists’ dargah, mosque, temple

Nasim Fakhtu, who lives in the Sadarbal area of Srinagar, said in the conversation held by terrorists in Pampore when he took refuge in the mosque that the terrorists had no meaning in the dargah, mosque and temple. If this happens, JKLF terrorists would not come to our Hazratbal shrine. They do not go to the dargah with weapons. Retired teacher Naseem Fakhtu said that the terrorists came to the dargah here not once. For the first time, the terrorists remained hidden in the Dargah for a month. He was perhaps bestowed by God who surrendered to the security forces without damaging the dignity of the dargah. The terrorists came to the dargah in 1996 for the second time. They spent the galleries there. About two dozen terrorists were killed in that encounter. There is a case in the Hazratbal Dargah, if the jihadis reach it then you can understand what the situation would be.

Terrorists take refuge in the mosque with a motive

SSP Jammu and Kashmir Police Altaf Khan said that the terrorists take refuge in the mosque for three reasons. First- he feels that he will survive this way. The security forces will give them a safe way to save the mosque or dargah and to avoid any kind of law and order crisis. It has also been done many times. The second motive of the terrorists is to raise headlines around the world while maintaining the deadlock for maximum time after entering the mosque, and also to increase their agenda of worsening the situation in Kashmir. The third objective is to discredit the security forces by damaging mosques, inciting the religious sentiments of the people and through it to mobilize support and new cadre. There have been at least 15 such incidents in Kashmir during the last three decades when terrorists took shelter in a mosque or dargah to fulfill their plans and save their lives.

Charar-e-Sharif case: The terrorists of Harkat-ul-Ansar and Hizbul Mujahideen took shelter in March 1995 in the Dargah of the 15th century Sufi Saint Sheikh Nooruddin Noorani, also known as Nund Reshi, in Charar-e-Sharif. These terrorists were being led by the Pakistani terror mast. This crisis lasted for about 66 days. The security forces took help from the ulemaaans, maulvis and many other Islamic scholars to evacuate the dargah from the terrorists keeping in view the importance of jiarat and the religious belief of the Kashmiris. But he did not agree. During this, security forces also intercepted Mastagul’s interaction with his handlers in Pakistan. In it, Mastgul was saying that as the order dictates, That will be done. The militants opened fire on the evening of May 11 to break the siege of security forces. Jawanane responded with restraint. The next morning the terrorists set the dargah on fire. Seeing the fire in the seven hundred year old dargah built from pine wood, it spread to different parts of the town. Most of the town, including the dargah, was destroyed by burning. It was a matter of pride that the local people had already taken shelter in other places in view of the situation in the town. During this time, 25 terrorists including nine Pakistani terrorists were killed in the encounter. Mastagul somehow managed to escape. When he reached the capital of slave Kashmir, he was welcomed by the then Amir Qazi Hussain of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan. Seeing had already taken refuge in other places.

Hazratbal Dargah case: On 15 October 1993, 40 terrorists took refuge in Hazratbal Dargah. Hazrat Muhammad Saheb’s Muqaddas in the Hazratbal Dargah is preserved. The terrorists who entered the dargah also had 12 LMGs. The crisis lasted for about a month, and on November 16, the terrorists vacated the dargah and surrendered to the security forces. Nearly three years after this incident, in 1996, the terrorists once again took refuge in Hazratbal Dargah to evade security forces and instigate people in the Valley. JKLF commanders Basharat Raza and Shabbir Siddiqui entered the dargah with their two dozen companions. He attacked the policemen guarding the dargah. The police also fought. Three policemen were martyred while the terrorists who came to capture the dargah were also killed.
