New Delhi. The last date for linking PAN card with Aadhaar is approaching. But there are some people who are still facing difficulties in linking. Actually, these difficulties can arise due to the difference in the details of the two documents.
Let us inform that PAN card holders are advised to link their Permanent Account Number (PAN) with Aadhaar card number by 31 March 2022. If you do not link your PAN with Aadhaar before this deadline, then your PAN card can also be deactivated. Apart from this, you will also have to pay Rs 1,000 for linking PAN with Aadhaar.
Due to this reason PAN Aadhar link is not possible
If the details like name for linking PAN and Aadhaar, date of birth/year, mobile number for obtaining OTP, etc. do not match on PAN and Aadhaar, users may face difficulties in linking both.
What can I do online update
If you have to update something online then personal information like name, date of birth, gender, address can be updated online. Your mobile number should be registered in Aadhaar so that it can be opened through OTP. Keep in mind here that if you have to update or link your mobile number, then you cannot do it online. To update it, you have to visit the Aadhaar Seva Kendra or Aadhaar Enrollment Center.
