PAN-Aadhaar Linking Last Date: Today is the last day to link PAN with Aadhaar. If you have not yet linked your PAN card to Aadhaar, do it today, otherwise your PAN card will be deactivated from tomorrow.
new Delhi. Have you linked your PAN card to Aadhaar Card? The Income Tax Department has fixed the last date for linking PAN card with Aadhaar card, 31 March 2021 i.e. today. If you do not do so by 31 March, your PAN card will be deactivated. Apart from this, under the Income Tax Act, you will have to pay a fine of Rs 1000.
PAN will be disabled if not linked
The Central Government has passed Section 234H added to the Income Tax Act 1961 under the Finance Bill 2021. It was passed in the Lok Sabha on 23 March. Under Section 234H, if you do not link your Aadhaar with PAN by the last date fixed by the government, then you will be fined a maximum of Rs 1,000. If you are not able to do so by the last date, then your PAN will be deactivated.

>> Enter the name, PAN number and Aadhaar number given in the Aadhaar card
>> In the Aadhaar card, just tick the square on the year of birth
>> Now enter the captcha code
>> Now click on the link Aadhaar button
>> Your PAN will be linked to Aadhaar.
2. The way to link PAN to Aadhaar by sending an SMS,
for this you will have to type on your phone – UIDPAN after this 12 Write the Aadhaar number with digits and then the 10-digit PAN number. Now send the message mentioned in step 1 to 567678 or 56161.
3. How to make passive PAN operative
Let me tell you, passive PAN card can be operative. For this, you have to do an SMS. After entering the 12-digit PAN number from your registered mobile, you will have to enter the 10-digit Aadhaar number and send an SMS to 567678 or 56161.
Check whether the PAN is linked to Aadhar or not

>> Go to the link base on the Quick Links tab and check your status.
>> To check the status, fill the information of Aadhaar and PAN card.
>> Now click on the view link Aadhaar Status.
>> Now you will know whether your Aadhaar is linked to PAN card or not.

You can also know the status of your PAN Aadhaar through SMS. For this, you have to SMS 567678 or 56161 to one of these two numbers. You have to write UIDPAN 12 digit Aadhaar number by writing a 10 digit PAN number.
