The government has made it mandatory to link PAN card and Aadhaar card together. If you do not link PAN and Aadhaar with each other, then your PAN will be treated as cancelled. In such a situation, a heavy fine will also be imposed on you. Let us tell you that for having an invalid Aadhaar, you can also be fined up to Rs 10,000.

According to the information received from the Income Tax Department, it is necessary to link PAN-Aadhaar by 31 March 2023. Before that, you should complete the linking process. PAN card will be treated as canceled if it is not linked by 31st March 2023. Meaning you will not be able to use it again in any financial transaction or other work.
What is the complete process of linking
First of all, if your account has not been created, then register yourself first. After this you have to go to the e-filing website of Income Tax Department www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in .
In the second step, you will see an option of Link Aadhaar on the website, you have to click there. Then login and go to the profile setting of your account.
In the third step, you will see the option to link Aadhaar card in the profile setting, you have to select it. Your Aadhaar number and captcha code will have to be filled in the section given here. After filling the information, click on the ‘Link Aadhaar’ option shown below. After this your Aadhaar will be linked.
