PAN-Aadhaar Linking: The last date for linking Aadhar card with PAN card with a penalty of Rs 500 was 30 June 2022, which is now over.
New Delhi. If you have not linked your Aadhar card with PAN card till now, then now you will have to pay double penalty for this work. From July 1, 2022, the penalty for linking PAN-Aadhaar has been doubled. Till June 30, 2022, the PAN-Aadhaar linking penalty was Rs 500, but from July 1, it has been increased to Rs 1000.
How to link pan card with Aadhaar card
>> First of all go to the new website of Income Tax Department https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/portal. Click on Link Aadhaar at the bottom.
>> Click Here to View Your Status. Here you have to enter the details of Aadhar and PAN.
>> If your PAN card is linked to Aadhar card then Your PAN is linked to Aadhaar Number will appear.
>> If your PAN card is not linked with Aadhar card then you have to click on https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home. After that click on Link Aadhaar.
>> After that fill the details. In this way your PAN card will be linked with Aadhar card.

Step 1: For PAN-Aadhaar linking, visit the portal- https://onlineservices.tin.egov-nsdl.com/etaxnew/tdsnontds.jsp Protean
Step 2: Click on CHALLAN NO./ITNS 280 for PAN-Aadhaar linking request.
Step 3: Select Tax Applicable.
Step 4: Please ensure that the fee payment is to be made in a single challan under Minor Head 500 (Fee) and Major Head 0021 (Income Tax other than Companies).
Step 5: Select the mode of payment through Netbanking or Debit card.
Step 6: Enter PAN number, select assessment year and enter address.
Step 7: Enter the captcha and click on Proceed tab.
