If you are also married and you have not got it amended yet, then get your surname and address changed as soon as possible. If you do not do this, you may have to face problems later on. You can do the process of changing surname and address in PAN card sitting at home. You will not need to go anywhere for this.

Changes can be done through these steps

1. To make changes in PAN card, first you have to go to the link given below.

2. After this, the application form will appear in front of you.

3. Fill all the necessary information in the application form and submit it.

4. Now you select the cell, which is made in front of your name. Here enter your PAN number in the form.

6. After this you have to verify the information given in the form.

7. To do the verification, you have to click on the ‘validate’ option.

8. Now you click on the submit button.

9. After submitting it, you need to enter your address in India to process your application through online netbanking or through your debit, credit or cash card.

10. Now you have to make payment through online mode.

11. You will have to pay Rs 110 for your address in India and Rs 1020 for your address outside India.

12. Once the payment is done, download the PAN Application Form.

13. Now take out the hardcopy of the form and pasting two photographs on it. After that put your signature.

14. Now send the application form for Income Tax PAN Services UNIT to the address of National Securities Depository Limited.

Do not forget to send your required documents along with the application form. Changes will not be possible in your PAN card without documents.

Full name of PAN card is Permanent account number. This is a kind of unique identity card. It is considered necessary for any kind of financial transaction.
