You can download e-PAN only with the help of your Aadhar card. It is necessary to link Aadhaar with PAN and registered mobile number. Its process is very easy and it will not cost you even a single penny. Only 10 minutes are needed to complete this work.
What is e-PAN service?
E-PAN service has been launched to provide PAN card in an instant manner. These cards are given almost in real time to those users who have a valid Aadhaar number. e-PAN is a digitally signed card in digital form, which is issued after verification of E-KYC details from Aadhaar. This card is given to users for free in PDF format.
How to download PAN card through Income Tax e-filing website
- First of all you have to go to the official Income Tax e-filing website.
- Then select the option of Instant E-PAN on the left side.
- Now click on Continue below Check Status/ Download PAN.
- After this you will have to enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number. Mark the checkbox and then click on Continue
- Now an OTP will be sent to the mobile number linked to the Aadhar card.
- After this enter the OTP and click on Continue.
- Now another screen will appear in which the option to View E-PAN and Download E-PAN will be available. From this select the option of Download E-PAN.
- Then click on Save the PDF file. In this way your e-PAN will be downloaded.
