If your PAN card is made and after that you get married then you need to make some changes in it. Change of surname and address is required in PAN card after marriage. If you do this then you will not face any kind of problem while doing important work. Here we are telling you how you can get the surname and address changed in the PAN card sitting at home.
Follow these steps to change surname and address:
You have to first go to https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/endUserRegisterContact.html link. After that you have to fill the application form. You have to enter all the necessary information in this form. Then you have to submit the form online. Then you have to select the cell which is next to your name. Then enter your PAN in the form. Then you have to verify the information given in the form. To verify, click on the validate option. Then you have to click on the submit button and proceed.
Urgent matter
After filling the form you will have to make the payment. If you want, you can pay Rs 110 (for change of address in India) through online net banking, debit card, credit card or cash card. At the same time, if the address is outside India, then a payment of Rs 1020 will have to be paid for it. After the payment is done, you need to download and fill the PAN Application Form. Then you have to take out the physical copy of this form through a printout.
After that 2 passport size photographs have to be pasted on the form and signed on them. The printout is to be sent to the Income Tax PAN Services Unit (Managed by NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited) at the address of NSDL. Then send the required documents along with that form. Along with the application form, the necessary documents are also to be self-attested.
