Passport application- If you are going to apply for a passport, then you must take care of some things, otherwise your application may get rejected. This type of problem has been seen in a large number of applications from 11 districts of Western North. Because of this, the passport office is going to close the files of more than 7000 applicants. After the fine is closed, they will have to apply again.
The passport office of 11 districts of western Uttar Pradesh is Ghaziabad. Apart from Ghaziabad, Noida, passports are made here up to Aligarh, Agra, Bulandshahr, Hapur, Hathras, Meerut, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli and Agra. According to the Ghaziabad Passport Office, people do not fill the current and permanent address properly at the time of applying for passport. The Regional Passport Office Ghaziabad (RPO) has taken action on the files of applicants giving wrong current and permanent address in the application.
The office has closed the files of 7679 applicants for giving wrong address related information in 2020. In such a situation, these applicants will now have to apply afresh. Most of the wrong address related cases are being caught in the process of police verification. Most of these applicants are from NCR. People living in rents change houses at the time of application, due to which the address is given wrong at the time of verification.
Regional Passport Officer Subroto Hazra says that in the passport application, either the current or permanent address of every third applicant is coming out wrong. Due to the mistakes of the applicants, it has become very bad. For this reason the files have been discarded. Applicants will have to apply afresh. He has suggested the applicants to give correct details of current and permanent address to avoid any hassle. Apart from giving information about new and old passport application, fill other information carefully.
