All Indian citizens traveling or wishing to leave India require a valid passport or travel document. What is the complete process
To get a passport made online, you have to first go to the official website of Passport Seva. After this you have to click on the new user box, after which you will come to the registration page. After this step, select the passport office of the city in which you are living, fill all the other asked information.
After filling all the details, you have to click on the register tab. After registering, you will have to come back to the Passport Seva website and click on the green login button. After that enter your email id and click on continue button. After this you have to click on Apply for Fresh Passport or Issue of Passport. You can download the form here and fill it and choose the option of uploading it on the website or you can also fill it online.
To download and fill the form, click on the option of Click here to download the soft copy of the form. If you want to fill the online form then click on the option click here to fill the application form online. After filling the form, click on View Saved Submit Application. Here you will be able to see the application you have filled. Click on the radio button next to it. Then click on Pay & Schedule Application
After that click on Online Payment and go to Next. Then select an option according to your convenience from the drop down menu next to the PSK location. After that click on the option of Pay and Book Appointment. After the payment is completed, you will once again reach the Passport Seva website.
Now a page will open in front of you on which the appointment will be written. This page will have complete information about the appointment received from the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK). After this you have to click on Print Application Receipt. On the next page you will be able to see the complete details of your application. Here again click on Print Application Receipt
Here you will be able to take a print out of your appointment confirmation. It will be needed for entry at Passport Seva Kendra. Now you have to reach the Passport Seva Kendra at your scheduled time. You will get the passport only after all the documents are checked and the police verification is completed.
