Paytm Crisis: Paytm Fastag users will now have to get a new Fastag. IHMCL has released a list of 32 banks from which you can buy Fastag. Paytm’s name is missing from the list of these banks. At the same time, Paytm Fastag will no longer be able to be recharged after February 29.
New Delhi: There is big news for Fastag users of Paytm. An advisory has been issued for Fastag users by the Road Tolling Authority of National Highway Authority of India. NHAI has issued an alert urging people to buy Fastag from authorized banks. Paytm Fastag users will have to get a new Fastag. Now Paytm Payments Bank is no longer an authorized bank to issue Fastag. IHMCL has released the list of 32 banks from where users can buy Fastag for themselves. The name of Paytm Payments Bank is missing from the list of banks providing Fastag. Paytm’s name has been removed from the list. According to media reports, people who have received Paytm tags will have to surrender them and purchase new tags from authorized banks.
