According to the Pension Fund Regulator (PFRDA), now the pension account can be opened easily by showing offline Aadhaar Card. Not only this, now you will not even need a photocopy of the Aadhaar card to open a pension account. To open a pension account, it is necessary to go to the official website of UIDAI and download the password protected Aadhaar XML file through E-NPS. This file works as KYC. Explain that UIDAI has a digital signature on download basis.

With Aadhaar offline, verification of Aadhaar is not required in the verification. The National Pension System (NPS) is a government retirement saving pension scheme. Initially it was started only for government employees but later it was also opened for private sector. Now both government and private employees can open pension accounts. In this, the age limit has been increased from 60 years to 65 years. After retirement, the employee can withdraw a part of this deposit.
