Pension Amount Increased: This state government has made a big announcement for the elderly. Now the elderly of the state will be given a pension of Rs 3500 every month. Chief Minister Saini government has taken this decision with the aim of providing financial assistance and respectable life to the elderly.

This initiative of the Haryana government has been started to financially empower the senior citizens of the state. Under the Old Age Pension Scheme, eligible citizens of the state will be given a pension of Rs 3500 every month.
Pension amount
The amount received earlier has been increased to ₹ 3500.
Eligibility
The applicant must be a permanent resident of Haryana.
Men should be 60 years of age or above and women should be 58 years of age or above.
Annual Income Limit
The family income should be below a certain limit (more information will be available soon).
Application Process
For this scheme, one can apply online on the Haryana Government portal https://pension.socialjusticehry.gov.in.
Aadhar card, income certificate, age certificate, bank account details and residence certificate will be required for the application.
