Will get pension on completion of 60 years of age
National Pension Scheme (NPS) has been brought by the government for the people doing their own business. To register in this, the annual turnover of your business should be Rs 1.5 crore or less. This is a voluntary scheme, in which the businessman will get a minimum pension of Rs 3,000 a month on completion of 60 years of age.
Scheme was launched in 2019
The Modi government started this scheme in 2019. If the person registering under the scheme dies, then the nominee (husband / wife) made on behalf of the beneficiary will be given 50 percent of the applicant’s pension as family pension. Eligibility to avail the benefits of the scheme
The age of the sole trader who has registered in this scheme should be between 18 to 40 years. Also, the annual turnover of the person doing business should be Rs 1.5 crore or less.
Which documents will be needed
For NPS Enrollment, you must have Aadhar Card and Savings Bank Account, Jan Dhan Account Number.
Contribution
In the scheme, contribution is also made from the central government to the account of the person who made the registration. Those joining the scheme will have to make contribution through auto debit from savings bank account or Jan Dhan account till the age of 60 years.
