Pensioners in Madhya Pradesh can now take advantage of giving Jeevan Pramaan at any bank branch. All banks are required to validate it. The bank in which the pension account currently exists
It is considered mandatory to give life proof once in a year in the branch attached to it. This creates problems for the pensioners. Four and a half lakh pensioners will start benefiting directly from this new system to be implemented by the Directorate of Pensions.
Survival certificate has to be given in the bank branch
Talking about every year in the state, in November, pensioners can take advantage of the benefits by giving a certificate of their existence keeping in mind the bank branch. If we talk about February this year, then the time is available till then. If you do not deposit in November, then the pension is not given in January.
New system for troubleshooting
Pensioners do not have to face any kind of problem to get life certificate, for this, arrangements are now being made that they can give life certificate by visiting any bank branch near their place of residence.
It is the responsibility of the concerned branch to reach the bank from which the pension starts receiving.
Director Pension JK Sharma has informed that in this age of information technology, the compulsion to submit life certificate after going to the concerned bank is not understood to make any sense.
We are starting this facility after creating a new system that pensioners can submit life certificate in any bank branch.
It is necessary to ensure implementation
Ganesh Dutt Joshi, Senior Vice President of Pensioners Association Madhya Pradesh has informed that this facility definitely starts getting help to the pensioner, but its implementation needs to be ensured.
