Pension increased from Rs 35,000 to Rs 58,300
Let us tell you that the Government of Chhattisgarh has passed an amendment bill in the Legislative Assembly, in which it has been told that pension and travel allowance are being increased. According to the bill, the pension of former MLAs will be increased from Rs 35,000 to Rs 58,300.
Will get extra pension
According to the bill, the former MLA will also be entitled to get an additional pension of one thousand rupees per month for every one year after the first term of his membership (term of more than five years).
Allowance increased from 8 lakhs to 10 lakhs.
Along with this, information has been received in the bill that at present, this allowance is available for railway or air travel according to the existing Rs. 8 lakhs annually. At the same time, it has now been decided to increase it to 10 lakhs. At the same time, this allowance for former MLAs has increased from 4 lakhs to 5 lakhs annually.
Additional burden will come on the exchequer,
let us tell you that ex-MLAs will get telephone allowance of Rs 10,000 and Orderly allowance will also get Rs 15,000. After this decision taken by the state, the government will have to spend an extra Rs 16.96 crore.
