Pension Plan : Everyone needs fixed income after retirement. A person from any section of the society becomes capable of working in old age. Madhya Pradesh government is running a special pension scheme for unmarried women. Under which, those women who are financially weak and unmarried get the benefit of monthly pension. The name of this scheme is MP Unmarried Pension Scheme.
About the scheme
Under the scheme, the government provides Rs 600 as pension every month to unmarried women. So that women can fulfill their smallest needs. Women aged 50 years or above can take advantage of this. Only natives of MP can avail this benefit. Women from both urban and rural areas can apply for the scheme.

There is no fee of any kind for applying for MP Unmarried Pension Scheme. Application can be made online by visiting the official website http://socialsecurity.mp.gov.in/ . Some documents are required for this. The list includes Native Pranam Patra, Age Certificate, 9 digit composite ID of unmarried women, Declaration of unmarriedness, Back passbook copy etc.
