New Delhi. Life Certificate is one of the most important documents for pensioners. You submit the Life Certificate in several ways. You can submit the Life Certificate by visiting the Treasury, Bank Branch, Common Service Center and Post Office. Pensioners have to submit their life certificate by 30 November every year to continue receiving their pension. Now only 12 days are left for the pensioners to submit the life certificate.
If the life certificate is not given by November 30, then the pension will stop,
if you do not submit the life certificate by November 30, then you will stop getting the pension. Actually, it is only by submitting the life certificate that it is known whether the pensioner is alive or not.
Life certificate will be made online
Pensioners do not need to go themselves to get their life certificate made. Life certificate itself can be generated online also. You can generate life certificate digitally from the Central Government Life Certificate Portal https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in/. Digital certificate can be generated through Aadhaar based authentication.
Life certificate can be submitted through door step service
Pensioners can submit digital life certificate through doorstep banking service of 12 banks including government sector SBI (SBI), Punjab National Bank (PNB). A nominal fee has to be paid for door step service .
