Last date extended to 31st December
Union Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Jitendra Singh said that now the pensioners of the Central Government can submit their life certificate till December 31. Earlier this date was 30 November. He told that in view of the effect of Corona epidemic, the government has announced to give this exemption.
Certificate can also be given online
Minister of State Jitendra Singh said that people receiving pension from the Central Government can submit this certificate by visiting bank branches themselves or digitally through online system till December 31. He said that the banks disbursing pension have been instructed to take adequate steps in their branches to avoid overcrowding and ensure social distancing is followed.
People have to give certificate every year
Let us tell you that the pensioners have to go to their bank branch and submit the pensioners life certificate by 30th November every year. This certificate is submitted so that after his death, the rest of the family members do not continue to receive pension improperly.
