Petrol Diesel Price on 1st April 2023: The financial year 2023-24 (FY 2023-24) has started from Saturday. With the new financial year, there is news of relief for the customers. Today, even after the increase in the prices of crude oil, a decrease in the prices of petrol and diesel has been recorded in many cities.
Out of the four metro cities, fuel rates have remained stable in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata, but a decline in the prices of petrol and diesel is being recorded in Chennai. Petrol in Chennai is getting cheaper by 17 paise and diesel by 16 paise at Rs 102.63 and Rs 94.24 a litre. Apart from this, a fall in the prices of petrol and diesel is also being registered in many cities like Gurugram, Lucknow etc.
Crude oil prices recorded a rise
Crude Oil Price is registering an increase today. The prices of WTI Crude Oil are registering an increase of 1.75 percent and it is trading around $ 75.67 per barrel. Today, with a slight decline of 0.63 percent in Brent Crude Oil, it is trading at $ 79.77 per barrel. After this increase, there is a reduction in the prices in many cities and an increase in some places.
In which cities will the price of petrol and diesel change today?
Today petrol is being sold in Noida by 1 paise and diesel by 1 paise at Rs 96.59 and Rs 89.76 per litre. Whereas in Gurugram, petrol is being sold 1 paise cheaper and diesel 1 paise costlier at Rs 96.84 and Rs 89.72 a litre. In Rajasthan’s Jaipur, petrol is being sold 94 paise and diesel 85 paise costlier at Rs 109.39 and Rs 94.55 a litre.
