New Delhi, PTI / Business Desk. Petrol and diesel prices have increased for the second consecutive day on Monday. On Monday, the price of petrol and diesel has increased by 60 paise per liter. This increase in prices has been done by the government-owned oil companies resuming the daily changes in oil prices from 83 days on Sunday. Petrol price in Delhi has now increased to Rs 72.46 per liter. At the same time, diesel is getting up to Rs 70.59 per liter.
Oil companies on Sunday also increased the prices of petrol and diesel by 60 paise per liter. An oil company official said that now the daily changes in oil prices have been resumed. With this, the fluctuations in the prices of petrol and diesel will be seen again across the country.
Petrol-diesel prices had been stable since March 16 due to the massive turmoil in the international oil market by state-run oil companies. However, the prices of ATF and LPG were being regularly changed by the companies.
Talking about other metros of the country, petrol is being available in Mumbai on Monday at Rs 79.49 per liter and diesel at Rs 69.37 per liter. In Kolkata, petrol is being available at Rs 74.46 per liter on Monday and diesel at Rs 66.71 per liter. Talking about Chennai, petrol is available on Monday at Rs 76.60 per liter and diesel at Rs 69.25 per liter. At the same time, petrol is available at Rs 79.10 per liter and diesel at Rs 71.54 per liter in Jaipur, Rajasthan capital.
Petrol is available at Rs 74.87 per liter on Monday and diesel at Rs 64.80 per liter in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, in Noida on Monday, petrol is being available at Rs 74.97 per liter and diesel at Rs 64.89 per liter. At the same time, petrol is getting at Rs 77.19 per liter and diesel at Rs 69.76 per liter in Patna, Bihar’s capital.
