Amidst the increase in crude oil, the state-owned oil companies also released the retail rates of petrol and diesel this morning, in which no change has been made. Petrol in Delhi is still getting Rs 96.72 a liter. The companies have not increased its prices since 6 April. However, the Maharashtra government has reduced VAT on petrol and diesel, after which petrol has become cheaper by Rs 5 and diesel by Rs 3 per liter. Brent crude is at $100.4 per barrel today, while WTI is at $96.73 per barrel.

New rates are released every morning at 6 o’clock
Petrol and diesel prices change every day at 6 am. The new rates are applicable from 6 am onwards.
