Petrol Diesel Price Today: Government oil companies have released retail rates of petrol and diesel across the country on Monday. Today, oil prices are falling in many districts from UP to Bihar, while oil prices have increased in some districts. However, there has been no change in oil prices in the four metros of the country like Delhi-Mumbai even today. There is also a softening in the prices of crude oil in the global market.
According to government oil companies, petrol in Ghaziabad district of UP is selling 12 paise more expensive at Rs 94.70 per liter. Diesel also fell by 14 paise and reached Rs 87.81 per liter. In the neighbouring Gautam Buddha Nagar district, petrol became costlier by 10 paise today and reached Rs 94.70 per liter, while diesel rose by 14 paise to reach Rs 87.81 per liter. In Bihar’s capital Patna, petrol fell by 18 paise to Rs 105.23 per liter and diesel fell by 17 paise to Rs 92.09 per liter.
Talking about crude oil, its prices are also falling in the last 24 hours. The price of Brent crude has fallen to $ 71.12 per barrel. The rate of WTI has also increased to $ 67.21 per barrel.
Petrol and diesel prices in the four metros
– Petrol in Delhi is Rs 96.65 and diesel is Rs 89.82 per liter
– Petrol in Mumbai is Rs 106.31 and diesel is Rs 94.27 per liter
– Petrol in Chennai is Rs 102.63 and diesel is Rs 94.24 per liter
– Petrol in Kolkata is Rs 106.03 and diesel is Rs 92.76 per liter
Rates have changed in these cities
– Petrol in Ghaziabad has become Rs 94.70 and diesel Rs 87.81 per liter.
– Petrol in Noida has become Rs 94.77 and diesel Rs 87.89 per liter.
– Petrol in Patna has become Rs 105.23 and diesel Rs 92.09 per liter.
New rates are released every morning at 6 am
The prices of petrol and diesel change every day at 6 am. New rates come into effect from 6 am. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price becomes almost double of the original price. This is the reason why the prices of petrol and diesel appear so high.
