In these 15 days, fuel oil has increased by Rs 9.20 per liter in the country. Oil prices were increased by 40 paise per liter on Monday.
After today’s hike, petrol has become costlier by Rs 104.61 and diesel by Rs 95.87 per liter in Delhi. Petrol in Mumbai is being sold at Rs 119.67 per liter and diesel at Rs 103.92. In Kolkata today, the price of petrol has gone up to Rs 114.28 and that of diesel to Rs 99.02. At the same time, in Chennai today petrol is available for Rs 110.09 and diesel for Rs 100.18.
There has been a big jump in crude oil prices again
In view of the violence in Ukraine, the horrors of war and Russia’s alleged atrocities against Ukrainian citizens, once again there are calls for sanctions against Putin’s country. The US has said that it is imposing more sanctions on Russia, due to which oil prices rose by four percent on Monday. In the international market, around midnight on Tuesday, Brent crude futures were rising 1.5 percent and it was at $ 109.11 per barrel. West Texas Intermediate Futures was up 1.6 per cent at 104.89.
