According to government oil companies, petrol in Gautam Buddha Nagar district of UP is being sold at Rs 94.75 per liter, 9 paise more expensive. Diesel has also increased by 10 paise and reached Rs 87.86 per liter. In Ghaziabad, petrol has become costlier by 26 paise and is being sold at Rs 94.65 per liter, while diesel has become costlier by 30 paise and is being sold at Rs 87.75 per liter. In Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur, petrol has become costlier by 31 paise today and is being sold at Rs 104.88 per liter, while diesel has become costlier by 29 paise and is being sold at Rs 90.36 per liter.
Talking about crude oil, its prices have also seen a jump in the last 24 hours. The price of Brent crude has reached $ 79.50 per barrel. The rate of WTI has also increased to $ 76.49 per barrel.

– Petrol in Delhi is Rs 96.65 and diesel is Rs 89.82 per liter
– Petrol in Mumbai is Rs 106.31 and diesel is Rs 94.27 per liter
– Petrol in Chennai is Rs 102.63 and diesel is Rs 94.24 per liter
– Petrol in Kolkata is Rs 106.03 and diesel is Rs 92.76 per liter

The prices of petrol and diesel change every day at 6 am. New rates come into effect from 6 am. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price becomes almost double of the original price. This is the reason why the prices of petrol and diesel appear so high.
