Oil companies had increased the prices of CNG a day ago, but have kept the prices of petrol and diesel stable for about 41 days. Earlier in March-April, the prices of petrol and diesel were increased by Rs 10.20 per liter. The last time petrol and diesel prices were increased on 6 April. However, if the price of Brent crude remains above $ 110 per barrel, then the oil companies can once again increase the prices.

New rates are released every morning at 6 am
Petrol and diesel prices change every day at 6 am. The new rates are applicable from 6 am onwards. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price becomes almost double of the original price. This is the reason why the prices of petrol and diesel appear so high.
