PF Balance check: The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has recently announced the transfer of interest received in the PF account to the PF account of the subscribers for the financial year 2019-20. If you have not yet received the interest money in your account or not, then do it soon. It is also very easy and there are many different ways. According to EPF’s official website – epfindia.gov.in, in EPF account, an employee contributes 12 percent of his salary to the PF account, and the same amount is deposited by the employer. EPFO manages EPF and also allows subscribers to view EPF passbook online through its website. EFPO also gives information about balance amount through missed call facility and SMS service.

Balance check through EPFO ​​website

First of all, EPF members or subscribers should log on to EPFO’s official website – epfindia.gov.in
Now click on the e-passbook link which is available on the top right side of the portal
On doing this, the EPF passbook page – passbook.epfindia.gov.in will be redirected. Enter the user name and password here. A UAN or universal account number and password are entered as the user name. UAN is an identification number which is mentioned in the monthly salary slip of every employee.
Once logged in, the details of the details of the job concerned will have to be selected. For example, people who have worked in three different organizations will have three different member IDs to choose from. Select Member ID.
After the member ID is selected, the user can view the EPF e-passbook or EPF passbook. The balance amount is given in the passbook EPF account.

EPF balance check via SMS (EPF balance check via SMS)

To check the balance amount through text message, the member can send an SMS from his registered mobile number to 7738299899. Members must write “EPFOHO UAN” correctly. This facility is available in 10 languages ​​- English (default), Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu and Bengali. To receive SMS in any language other than English, the first three characters of the preferred language must be added after UAN. EPF balance check from missed call (EPF balance check from missed call)

EPFO subscribers can check their balance by giving a missed call on 011-22901406 from their registered mobile number. If the member’s UAN is with one of the bank account numbers, Aadhaar and PAN (Permanent Account Number), the member will get the last contribution and details of the PF balance amount. To take advantage of this facility, the mobile number on the integrated portal should be activated with the UAN. After giving two missed calls from registered mobile number on 011-22901406, it disconnects itself. This service of checking PF balance is free.

EPF balance check through Umang app (EPF balance check through Umang app)

Open the official mobile app Umang app and click on EPFO. The member will be directed at the person who performs the employee-centric services. Click on ‘Employee-centric services’, which will direct the user to the page. Then, click on ‘View Passbook’ and enter the UAN and One-Time Password (OTP), which the user will get on the registered mobile number. After this, members can see their EPF balance.
