Go to the official website of EPFO.

After that click on ‘Member Passbook’ and login by entering UAN and password.

How to check balance by SMS
You can also check balance from your phone in easy ways but for this you need to have your UAN registered with EPFO. To check PF account balance through SMS, you have to send the format ‘EPFOHO UAN ENG’ to 773829899 from your registered mobile number. This service is also available in Hindi, Punjabi and other languages.
Balance can also be done by missed call
You can check PF account balance by giving a missed call on 011-22901406 toll free number from UAN registered mobile number. But for this it is necessary that your Aadhaar card, PAN card and mobile number are registered with UAN.
Balance check through UMANG app
Apart from this, you can also check the balance through the Umang app. First of all, you have to download this app from Google Play Store and then login with UAN and password. Once logged in, you can know the balance by checking the passbook. Along with this, many government facilities can also be availed.
Register like this
- First official website. Visit https://unifiedportal mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/
- Here you have to activate UAN.
- You click on Universal Account Number.
- You will see a new page on the screen. Where UAN, Aadhaar, PAN and other details have to be entered.
- Click on Get Authorization Pin. Here you will see a new page on the screen. In which the details will be asked to verify, then OTP will be sent to your mobile via SMS.
- You have to enter OTP and click on Validate OTP & Activate UAN.
- After the UAN is activated, you will get the password through SMS. Now use the password to log in to the account here and you can also change the password.
- After this you will be able to see your passbook after 6 hours of registration.
Follow these steps to download EPF statement
- First of all go to the website https://passbook.epfindia.gov.in/MemberPassBook/Login.jsp.
- Here enter UAN, password and captcha code and click on login.
- After logging in, select the member ID to view the passbook.
- Here you will get the passbook in PDF format, which you can easily download.
- If you forget the account password, you can reset the password from here. For this you can go to the member portal of EPFO.
