Users unable to download e-passbook
Many EPF members are facing 404 error while clicking on the e-passbook page. This has been the case for almost a week. Users are complaining that they are unable to download their e-passbook since last few days. At the same time, it has been said on behalf of EPFO that this matter will be resolved soon.
Let us tell you that the e-passbook of EPFO provides comprehensive information about the transactions done by both the employer and the employee in their EPF and Employees Pension Scheme (EPS) account. It contains the details of the monthly contributions made as well as the interest accumulated on those contributions.
The passbook also displays the current interest earned on the total amount accumulated in the account. Apart from the EPFO portal, there are some other ways through which you can know your EPF balance.
Check balance through UMANG app
- Download the Umang app.
- After this, register in it by entering your mobile number and OTP.
- After this, select the All Services option and go to the EPFO option and select View Passbook.
- Enter UAN number and OTP here.
- After this, you will get the information about the amount deposited in the account.
Check PF Balance Through Missed Call
- You can check the balance of PF account only through missed call.
- For this, give a missed call from your registered mobile number 9966044425.
- After this, within a few minutes, information about the amount deposited in the PF account will be available on your mobile.
- Keep in mind that to know PF account balance through missed call, your Universal Account Number must be active.
- Along with this, it is also necessary to have registered mobile number along with UAN.
Check balance through SMS
- If you want, apart from missed call, you can also check PF balance through SMS.
- For this, you have to type EPFOHO UAN number from your registered mobile number and send it to 7738299899.
- After this, within a few minutes you will know the amount deposited in the account.
