The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), the organization that manages the PF account of the employees, provides the facility to check the balance of their PF account online. Every month a fixed amount is deducted as PF from the salary of employed people.
Interest is also paid every month on the deducted amount. However, many times it is also seen that employed people have to face a lot of difficulties in checking the balance of their PF account. But you can check the balance of your PF account in four very easy ways.
Through EPFO website
- You can check your PF account balance through EPFO website. Here first of all you have to enter your UAN No. And login by entering the password.
- After this you have to visit EPFO’s website epfindia.gov.in. Then you have to click on the option of Click here to know your EPF balance.
- In the third step, you will be redirected to the page of epfoservice.in/epfo. After which you have to click on the option of balance information.
- After this you have to select your state and click on the website link of your state’s EPFO office.
- After this you have to enter your PF account number, name and registered mobile number. Then you have to click on submit. As soon as this process is completed, your PF balance will be shown on the screen.
Via SMS
You can also check your PF account balance by sending a simple SMS. For this you have to write EPFOHO from your registered mobile number and then enter your UAN No. Have to write and send it to 7738299899.
Via missed call
You can also check your PF account balance through missed call. For this you have to give a missed call on 9966044425 from your registered mobile number. Calling this number will automatically disconnect it. After a few seconds, the details of the balance will be sent to your number.
Through UMANG Portal
You can also use the facilities of EPFO through UMANG portal. Along with this, you can also check the balance of your PF account through this. The UMANG app can be downloaded from Google Play, App Store and Windows Store.
