The Government of India has transferred the interest of PF to the account of the account holders for the financial year 2020-21. The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) said that interest money has been transferred to a total of 21.38 crore accounts.

This time EPFO has given 8.5 percent interest on PF amount. You can check by sitting at home how much interest you have received. You can know PF interest only with the help of registered mobile number linked with PF account.
Know through message PF amount You
can also check PF balance through SMS. For this EPFO has issued the number. For this, SMS has to be sent from the registered mobile number to 7738299899. As soon as you SMS, EPFO will send you your PF contribution and balance information.
The way to send SMS is also very easy. For this, you have to send ‘EPFOHO UAN’ to 7738299899. This facility is available in 10 languages English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Bengali. For this information, it is necessary to have your UAN, PAN and Aadhaar linked.
Know PF amount by missed call
Now you can know all the details of your PF account on just one missed call. EPFO has issued this (011-22901406) number. You just have to give a missed call on it from your registered mobile number. As soon as you make a call on this number, after a few seconds of ringing, the phone will be disconnected and then the complete information about the account will be reached through the message.
If you want to send the message in English then you have to write EPFOHO UAN ENG. The last three words (ENG) mean language. If you put these three words, then you will get the information of balance in English. If you enter the code of Hindi (HIN), then you will get the information in Hindi. Keep in mind that instead of UAN, you do not have to enter your UAN number. Leave it by just typing UAN.
The PF amount will also be known from the UMANG app, apart from
this, you can also check the amount deposited in the PF account through the UMANG app. For this, go to the EPFO section present on the UMANG app. Click on Employee Centric Service. Select View Passbook and login with UAN to view passbook. Also you can contact on toll free number 1800-118-005.
According to the rules of EPFO, through phone call or message, the same consumer will get information, whose UAN will be active. Along with this, if your UAN is linked to any of your bank accounts, Aadhar and PAN, then you can take your last contribution and all the details of the account.
