PF Interest Rate: Subscribers can check the balance of their PF account in four ways. Know about each one here
PF Interest Rate: Taking a big decision recently, Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) decided to reduce the interest tax on PF deposits. This has dealt a blow to six crore subscribers. Now interest will be available at the rate of 8.10 percent. The latest news is that EPFO has started collecting interest according to the new calculation. If you also want to know whether money will come in your work or not, then there are not one, two, but four ways. You will be able to know whether money has come in your EPF account or not by sitting at home. Along with this, you will also be able to know how much amount has been deposited in the account.
Learn how to check PF balance in these four ways
1. Balance check through SMS: If you know your UAN (Universal Account Number) then you can also check PF balance through message. For this, you have to message by writing to the number 7738299899. Message has to be written, EPFOHO UN ENG. Now you will get information through message. ENG stands for Language in the Message. You can find this information in many other languages as well. For example, if you want this information in Hindi, then you have to write EPFOHO UAN HIN in the message.
2. Check Balance Through Missed Call: Make a missed call on 011-22901406 from your mobile number registered with EPFO. Now PF details will be available from EPFO’s message
3. Check Balance Online:
- First of all, from the browser of your mobile or laptop – open https://passbook.epfindia.gov.in/memberpassbook/login. Now enter UAN and Password.
- After this the captcha code has to be entered. Now a new page will open in front of you.
- Select your PF number from the drop down list on this page. Now you will be able to see your passbook.
4. Balance check can also be done from UMANG App
Open UMANG App in your mobile. Then click on EPFO. Here you can check PF balance by logging in through your UAN.
