EPFO Latest News: If you also do a job, then you have changed jobs recently, then this is important news for you. EPFO has told that now you can transfer your PF in minutes. For this you will not have to worry at all. Even if you have changed the number of jobs, you can still transfer the PF balance of your old company to the account of the existing company. Let me tell you how-
Which documents will be required?
To transfer PF, you must have an active UAN number and its password. Apart from this, all the information should be filled in your UAN number like bank account number, mobile number, Aadhaar number should be updated.
How can check PF account balance –
1. You have to visit the official website of EPFO https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/ .
2. Now you have to login after entering UAN number, password and captcha.
3. After login, you have to go to the home page.
4. Now here you have to go to the Members Profile and check all your personal details here.
5. Here you have to verify your name, Aadhar details and PAN card.
6. Apart from this, email id, mobile number and bank account details should also be filled correctly.
7. Before transferring PF, you should check your passbook. For this, you have to go to View where the option of Passbook will appear.
8. After clicking on passbook, you have to log in once again.
9. After login, as soon as you click on the select member id, a complete will be opened.
The balance of all the old companies will be visible,
Now let us tell you that the member ID of all the companies you have worked for will be shown to you. The ID which will be at the bottom of this will be your current company. Here you will see the PF balance of all your companies by going to View Passbook.
How to transfer old EPF to new
1. Before transferring old PF, it is necessary to update the entry and exit dates.
2. You have to go to View and click on the option of Service History.
3. If the old company has updated both the dates, then your PF will be transferred easily.
4. You have to go to Online Services and click on ONE MEMBER ONE EPF ACCOUNT (transfer request).
5. A new page will open in front of you where you will get personal information.
6. Apart from this, you will get the details of the PF account of the existing company, in which you are going to get the old PF money.
7. Just below it will be the details of the old employer from which to transfer PF. The PF transfer you are going to get here has to be approved by your current or old employer.
8. After this, you have to enter your UAN details, as soon as you do this, the PF ID of all your previous companies will come, select the one whose money is also to be transferred.
9. After this you have to authenticate it through OTP. Click on GET OTP.
10. Here you will see THE CLAIM HAS BEEN SUCESSFULLY SUNMITTED
11. Here you will see the transfer claim status.
12. Now you have to get a print out and give it to your company for attestation, it will be sent to the PF office
12. Now in 7 to 30 days your old PF balance will be transferred to the new account.
