According to sources, Sumita Dawra, Secretary, Ministry of Labor and Employment, approved the proposal to increase the limit from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh in the 113th meeting of the Executive Committee (EC) of the Central Board of Trustees (CBT) last week. This amendment will increase the ease of living for its crores of EPFO ​​​​members. According to the report, this meeting was held on 28 March in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. It was attended by EPFO ​​​​Central Provident Fund Commissioner Ramesh Krishnamurthy. Now, this recommendation will go to the CBT for approval.

PF money can also be withdrawn from UPI and ATM

Employees will soon be able to check their PF balance and withdraw money directly through UPI and ATM. Secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Sumita Dawra, has recently confirmed that employees will be allowed to withdraw up to Rs 1 lakh immediately.
