PF Withdrawal New Rules: The process of withdrawing PF has now become easier than ever. If your UAN and KYC are verified, then the online method is the fastest and most convenient. Otherwise, you can also withdraw money by filling an offline form.

PF Withdrawal New Rules: Whether you do a government job or work in the private sector, you must have an account in the Employee Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). If you also want to withdraw your PF money, then in the year 2025, EPFO ​​has given some options for this. Let us tell you in this news when and in what ways you can withdraw money from your PF account.

Methods of withdrawing PF money

There are two main ways to withdraw money from EPF-

Offline (by submitting the form)

Online (through UAN portal)

1. Offline method (by submitting physical form)

If your UAN (Universal Account Number), Aadhaar and bank details are not linked on the EPFO ​​​​portal, then you will have to fill and submit the composite claim form.

Which form to fill?

Composite Claim Form (With Aadhaar) – If your Aadhaar, bank account and UAN are verified on the EPFO ​​portal, then you can submit this form without attestation from the company.

Composite Claim Form (With Non-Aadhaar) – If Aadhaar/bank details are not linked, then get this form attested by the company and submit it. To download this form, you have to go to the EPFO ​​official website.

2. Online method (from UAN portal)

If your UAN is activated and Aadhaar, PAN, bank details are verified, then you can withdraw PF online.

Steps to withdraw PF online

  • Login to UAN portal – https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in
  • Check KYC – Go to ‘Manage’ > ‘KYC’ and see if Aadhaar, PAN and bank details are verified or not.
  • Fill the claim form – Click on ‘Online Services’ > ‘Claim (Form 31, 19, 10C & 10D)’.
  • Verify bank account – Enter your account number and click ‘Verify’.
  • Select claim type –
  • Full Settlement
  • Partial Withdrawal
  • Pension Withdrawal
  • Fill in the details and submit, upload scanned documents (if asked).

Note: If you have left the job, you can enter the Exit Date yourself (by going to ‘Manage’ > ‘Mark Exit’).

How to check PF withdrawal status?

  • Login to UAN portal.
  • Click on ‘Online Services’ > ‘Track Claim Status’.
  • Enter the reference number and check the status.

Now you can withdraw PF from ATM too

The government is planning to bring EPF 3.0 by 2025, in which you will be able to withdraw money from your PF account with the help of ATM card. This facility will be launched soon. To get this card, you will need some important documents. These documents are – UAN number, Aadhar card, PAN card, bank account details (IFSC code) and cancelled cheque. The same documents will be required even when you try to withdraw PF money offline.
