Phone recharge rules changed: After TRAI's order, telecom companies changed the rules of phone recharge, check new rule

Phone recharge rules changed: Telecom companies have taken a big step on mobile phone recharge. This will have a direct impact on the pockets of the customers.

Phone recharge rules changed: After the instructions of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), telecom companies have started providing only voice packs. But there is no news of relief for the users. Instead of reducing the tariff of the plan, the companies have removed the data from it.

This means that the consumer will not get any benefit from this. Rather, there will be loss. For example, earlier Airtel’s annual plan was Rs 1999. In this, customers used to get 24 GB data. But now the company has removed 24 GB data from it and is offering the same plan to customers only in the name of voice plan.

That is, for Rs 1999, there is only a voice plan (Voica Call Recharge Plan), no data pack. This means that if the consumer wants data in it, he will have to do an additional recharge.

Let us tell you here that TRAI wanted that consumers should get data-free packs at cheaper rates, but by removing data from the plan without reducing the price, the companies have defied TRAI’s order.

Let us tell you that the government has approved spectrum reformation. Along with this, the government has also launched the Sanchar Sathi app to resolve complaints related to the telecom sector.
